According to a source close to the singer’s broom closet, he has been toying with the idea for years, with focus groups trying out “Booblayover, Hooterlay, and Joe” as alternatives. In the end, it appears that “Bubbles” won out in a fan vote held secretly in his backyard pool. A press release from his agent confirmed the name change, along with a note saying “screw this, it’s gonna cost us a fortune in rebranding. My ulcer!”. Rumour also has it that he is also planning to starting singing jizz, instead of jazz.
